Panch Kedar
The Panch Kedar Trek is one of the most spiritually profound and scenic treks in Uttarakhand, dedicated to Lord Shiva. It covers five sacred temples – Kedarnath, Tungnath, Rudranath, Madhyamaheshwar, and Kalpeshwar – each representing a different form of Shiva. According to legend, these shrines were established by the Pandavas to seek forgiveness from Lord Shiva after the Kurukshetra war. As Shiva tried to avoid them, his body parts appeared in different locations across the Garhwal Himalayas, forming the Panch Kedar.
This trek not only offers a deep spiritual experience but also rewards trekkers with breathtaking views of the Himalayan peaks, lush meadows, dense forests, and charming villages. The journey is a perfect blend of devotion, adventure, and nature’s serenity.
