Dhari Devi Temple
The Dhari Devi Temple is a powerful Shakti Peeth and a deeply revered spiritual site in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand. The temple is believed to be the protector and guardian deity of the Char Dham Yatra and the entire Garhwal area.
The temple houses the upper half of the idol of Goddess Dhari Devi, while the lower half is worshipped in Kalimath Temple—a Shakti Peetha where the goddess is worshipped in a more peaceful form. According to legend, no yatra or spiritual journey in Uttarakhand is complete without the blessings of Dhari Devi.
