Itinerary
Morning pickup from Haridwar. Scenic drive via Rudraprayag and Ukhimath. Arrival at Sari village by evening. Overnight stay in homestay or camp.
Early morning 3 km trek to Deoriatal Lake. Enjoy views of Chaukhamba peaks reflected in the lake. Descend back to Sari and drive to Chopta (45 km). Evening leisure or nature walk in Chopta meadows. Bonfire (if weather permits) and overnight in camp or lodge.
Post breakfast, start the 3.5 km trek to Tungnath Temple, the highest Shiva temple in the world. Continue 1.5 km further to Chandrashila Peak for 270° Himalayan views. Return to Chopta by evening. Rest and overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive back to Haridwar. Drop-off by evening with unforgettable memories of Chopta.
