How to reach Auli

By Roadways

Auli is 15km far from Joshimath; connected with NH-58 from Delhi to Badrinath. You can arrive at Auli by following the Joshimath route. After reaching Joshimath, you can take either roadway or ropeway to reach Auli. By Railways

The nearest railway station to Auli is Rishikesh which takes around 6 hours. After that, you can take public transport to Joshimath and then to Auli. 

By Airways

You can arrive at Auli by taking a taxi from Jolly Grant Airport. There are around 2 to 3 flights from Delhi to Jolly Grant Airport and the distance from here to Auli is 280km.

November to March

For skiing, November to March is considered the most desirable time. It is extremely chilly weather, temperature dropping to less than zero. Various snow adventure events are hosted at Auli in the winter season.  Auli is a ski resort destination and its skiing slopes are popular among skiing enthusiasts. June to October
